CMT NAMED SYMANTEC VAR OF THE YEAR 2008
CMT Recognized as a leading Channel Partner at Symantec’s Annual North America Partner Conference
SANTA CLARA, CA — October 17, 2008 — CMT today announced that Symantec recognized the company as the VAR of the Year at Symantec’s annual partner conference – Partner Engage 2008 – in Washington, D.C. on October 16. CMT was recognized for its dedication and commitment to selling Symantec’s security and availability solutions, as well as its overall performance in revenue, deal registration, technical and marketing investments, and certifications.
In fiscal year 2008, CMT increased its Symantec revenue by more than 250 percent and continued to be a leader in identifying and closing deals in Symantec’s Partner Opportunity Registration Program. In addition, CMT completed several certifications on Symantec products including:

More than 300 partners from the U.S., Canada and Latin America attended Symantec’s annual Partner Engage event in Washington, D.C. on October 15-17, where top Symantec executives addressed partners via various keynotes and breakout sessions on relevant topics including data protection, storage management and high availability, endpoint management and security, the Symantec partner program, and sales and partnering strategies.
